About EO Equals
EO Equals is a national platform advancing awareness and action around employee ownership. It serves as a hub for research, data, learning tools and stories that help business owners, advisors, policymakers and community leaders activate employee ownership across the economy.

EO Equals initially launched with support from The Kendeda Fund and four mission-driven nonprofit partners: Project Equity, Evergreen Cooperatives, Nexus Community Partners, and The ICA Group. In 2023, EO Equals became a Project Equity initiative. Today, it continues to grow with support from JPMorganChase and engagement from the Employee Ownership Expansion Network (EOX) and Purpose Trust Ownership Network (PTON).

Project Equity is a national leader in the movement to harness the power of employee ownership to provide business owners with an accessible succession plan, preserve legacy businesses, strengthen local economies, and increase wealth among workers. Project Equity works with partners around the country to raise awareness about employee ownership as an exit strategy and provides hands-on consulting and capital in addition to offering accredited continuing education for business advisors.

The Employee Ownership Expansion Network is a national nonprofit focused on expanding employee ownership across the United States to reduce income and wealth disparity, increase community wealth, and create a more vibrant, participatory economy.
Lafayette Square Institute develops, analyzes, and amplifies bipartisan policy solutions at the federal and state levels to mobilize private capital and advance the national interest. Their core focus areas involve the intersection of private investment with employee ownership, housing supply, and access to worker benefits.
